There was a gentleman called Jim Groves, he was an oldish chap back then with a club foot. He was our local chimney sweep. He used to have all his brushes on his back and cycle all over the place. One day its said that he was cycling down Portland Walk, Worcester and a German bomber fired shots at him as he cycled. The shots went all down the road and into 'The Tins'. Luckily he never got hit but we could see the bullet holes in the road and 'tins'.
