"RAF Football Team Italy" 1944 (Possibly March) Perhaps Foggia
Does anyone know of anybody who played football for the RAF, or against the RAF in the desert - or in Italy (perhaps Foggia)? If you know of anyone, he might be able to be identified from the photo.
Also, does anyone have any more information on these football events (eg name of teams, leagues, knock-out competitions etc) and on any running events, which my father also took part in?
My father, John Smith, is located in the back row, second from left.
