Message 1 - HMS St. Kenan

Posted on: 15 May 2004 by Researcher 235658

Hi, HMT (His Majesty's Trawler ) St. Kenan was one of 215 trawlers taken over by The Admiralty for war service. They were used as Anti Submarine Trawlers. St.Kenan was built in 1936 and had a displacement of 565 tons. Commissioned and taken over by the Admiralty in September 1939. Returned to her owner February, 1946. I hope this is of help.
