When I was at school in Ball Green ( South St-Bradeley) the teacher asked if any people could have evacuees . I ran home to ask. We got a London boy called Alfred Parrish and my gran had his sister Irene.
They stayed 2 years we kept in touch for a liitle while. They settled really well and but didn't have a happy home.
