At Camp at Toulon France 10 October 1945
I joined the army April 1944 and these are the places That I stayed at sometimes 6 weeks and it varied between 6weeks and 2 days
England, Shrewsbury, Training joined RASC Alfreton, Ripley, Alfreton,Bagshot Heath,Osset, Tugford,(embarkation leave) Camp southern England. France Bayeax Belgium, Beviene, Holland, Nimagen, Where I joined 111 Mobile Ambulance Company. as a dispatch rider
Belgium, Mechelin, Holland, Nuth, Belgium, Eysden, Wimmertingam, Thestalt, Maillen, Ardennes, Holland,Westphalla, Boxtel, Grave, Nimagen, Germany. Goch, Arnolt, Gladburg, Furstenau, Twistringer, Barrian, Bassum, Obernaulande, Springe.The war in Europe now finished.
Back to England ( embarkation leave ) Tugford , Belgium (new company) as ambulance driver Brugges, Schellebelle, Melle Isigem, France, Toulon, Ship. Banfora, Egypt Joined B Company 8 Field Ambulance as ambulance driver. Tahag, Moasca, Palestine, Gaza, Nathanya, Hiafa Athlit SidiBisha, Ship Staffordshire England. Beeston Castle Where I was Demobbed. 21 April 1946 And that was all of my stays, in somewhere near order.
