My wife鈥檚 claim to fame is that her sister is married to the brother of John Pulford, who flew in Guy Gibson鈥檚 plane, as navigator I believe, on the Dam Busters raid. Not many people realise he was from Hull, Waterloo Street and is buried in Northern Cemetery. My wife鈥檚 brother in law has got his DFC and mementoes. He still lives in Hull and visits his brother鈥檚 grave regularly.
