I am writing this in recognition of Jimmy Brown, of the Royal Naval Patrol Service, who has worked tiressly over the years, writing articles and books to get the recognition due to the Patrol Service.

He writes from experience as he was in the dance band, Blue Mariners and was shipwrecked off Durban, South Africa sufferring great hardships.

Jimmy Brown is a real hero to all the veterans of the Patrol Service.
