Tom having his hair cut
Ginger Turner among other things did the hair cutting for the company and Tom Brewer usually drove him when he went to cut the hair of some of the lads who were working up front. About a month or perhaps longer before the war ended they went out to cut hair but took a wrong turning and got captured by the Germans who took their truck off them and marched them back about 60 mile before the advance caught up with them and they were released. This is the story I heard but I have no confirmation of this. I never saw them again Tommy Handley
