Pony Trek - 3 October 1944

In October 1944 my father and his friend Frank had a few days leave in Darjeeling; on Tuesday afternoon they went by pony to Jalapahar Camp.

Please see A6990069 "The War Diary of a Royal Engineer with the Forgotten Army" (Part 2: 1 August 1944 to 1 June 1946) for the story.
