WHEN I WAS 6YEARS OLD IN 1941, i was standing in the porch of our house no 14 glisson rd hillingdon middlesex, when pieces of the rendering started to fly off the walls!!my nan rushed out and grabbed me in , we were being shot at from a german fighter plane, which was shot down , we watched the dogfight from the front room window, and the plane was put on display at uxbridge station,another time we heard a noise while playing in the woods at long lane ,we were up a big tree at the time and it was a doodle bug!! it crashed at the end of gresham /glisson rds in the fields behind our houses, made a large crater ,and we then used the horses trough for a boat!! as it filled up to make a super!! we thought boating pond. ROY.
