There are some funny things that hapen when you are in action. For instance, I can remember one incident in particular when a corporal from B Squadron of the 4th RTR moved up the desert towards the enemy's line. When the enemy came out for battle, the corporal turned his tank round and raced back towards his own line, making sure their tanks were following him. In the meantime he calculated the range of the enemy tanks behind him and without warning, swung his tank round and drove straight for the enemy tanks, scoring a direct hit. The corporal did this three times successsfully but on the fourth, the Germans were ready for him and blew the turret off his tank. I don't know if he was killed or not but we never saw him again.
