1. Benouville (Normandy)
224ft Bailey Pontoon Class 40 Bridge over the Caen Canal. Consisting of two 110ft T/S leading bays onto a type 鈥淒鈥� pier with 10ft towers with one platoon of 17th Field Company R.E. and 263 Field Company R.E. under command 71st Field Company constructed nearside landing bay and 60ft D/S tail to allow launching of landing bay.
Completed 8th June 1944

2. Ranville (Normandy)
286ft Bailey Pontoon Class 40 Bridge over the River Orne consisting of two 110ft T/S landing bays onto type 鈥淒鈥� piers with 10ft towers and a centre span of 60ft D/S with one platoon of 17th Field Company and 263 Field Company under command 71st Field Company constructed nearside landing bay and centre span.
Completed 10th June 1944

3. Escarde (Normandy)
336ft Bailey Pontoon Class 40 Bridge over the River Orne consisting of two 110ft T/S landing bays one 31ft 6ins and one 41ft 6ins end floating bay with 234 Field Company under command 71st Field Company constructed one landing bay 41ft 6ins end floating bay and 42ft raft. This was probably the quickest bridge built by the company and being open to traffic nine hours after commencement of recce.

4. Vernon (France)
642ft Bailey Pontoon Class 40 Bridge over the River Seine consisting of one 110ft 6ins landing bay one 31ft 6ins and 41ft 6ins end floating bay and nine floating bays built by 7 Army Troops Engineers 71/72 and 73 Field Companies R.E. with one Pioneer Company under command 71st Field Company constructed 80ft 6ins landing bay 31ft 6ins floating bay and three 42ft floating bays, also considerable clearance of the site for bank and road making.

5. Het Punt near Gheel (Belgium)
191ft Bailey Barge Class 40 Bridge over the Albert Canal consisting of one 110ft T/S and one 80ft D/S landing bay on a German 90 ton pontoon strengthened by strutting and extra buoyancy obtained by lashing two bipartite pontoons piers. Constructed by 555 Field Company R.E. with 71 Field Company R.E. less one platoon. 71 Field Company constructed 80ft landing bay and also prepared pontoon for bridge.

6. Stockroye (Belgium)
233ft Bailey Barge Class 70 Bridge over the Albert Canal consisting of one 91ft D/D landing bay one 71ft T/S and one 71ft T/S centre bay onto two 200 ton barges. Constructed by 7 Army Troops Engineers comprising HQ7 Army Troop 71 Field Company less one platoon 72 Field Company and 277 Corps Field Park Company R.E. 71 Field Company built 91ft D/D landing bay and constructed 100yds of set road.

7. Smeermaas (Belgium)
130ft Bailey Bridge Class 40 over locks on the Maastricht Junction Canal.
Constructed by 71 Field Company R.E. less no. 2 Platoon.

8. Lanaeken (Belgium)
30ft Bailey Bridge Class 40 locks over locks on the Meuse-Escaut Canal.
Constructed by No. 2 Platoon 71 Field Company R.E.

9. Lanaeken (Belgium)
40ft Bailey Bridge Class 40 over locks on the Meuse-Escaut Canal.
Constructed by No. 2 Platoon 71 Field Company R.E.

10. Roostern (Holland)
110ft Bailey Bridge Class 40 over the Juliana Canal.
Constructed by 71 Field Company R.E.

11. Gennap (Holland)
4008ft Bailey Pontoon Bridge Class 40 over the River Maas, consisting of:
a) Bridge of six 61ft landing bays on class 40 landing piers, five 42ft rafts, two 41ft 6ins end floating bays, one 32ft raft and one 44-46ft sliding bay.
b) 962ft viaduct of S/S Bailey supported on steel bridging cribs.
c) 2133ft viaduct of 42ft floating bays, pontoons afterwards replaced by steel bridging cribs and Bailey Cribs.
Constructed by 7 Army Troop Engineers comprising of H.Q. 7 Army Troop Engineers, 71/72/73 and 503 Field Companies R.E., 277 Corp Field Park Company R.E. and 149 Pioneer Company P.C.
71 Field Company R.E. constructed 鈥� two 61ft landing bays, one 41ft 6ins end floating bay, three 42ft rafts, and also 962ft of viaduct on steel bridging cribs and replaced the pontoons in 1923ft of the second viaduct by cribs.

12. Well (Holland
750ft Bailey Pontoon Class 40 Bridge over River Maas. Consisting of:
Two 10ft ramps, one 80ft D/S approach span, one 110ft T/S landing bay onto type 鈥淒鈥� pier, one 70ft D/S sloping bay, two 41ft 6ins end floating bays, one 44-46ft sliding bay, one 70ft landing bay, one 50ft landing bay, and one 50ft approach span.
Constructed by 7 Army Troop Engineers. Consisting of H.Q. 7 Troop Engineers, 7/72/73 and 503 Field Companies R.E. and 277 Corps Field Park Company R.E.
71 Field Company R.E. constructed one 70ft landing bay, one 50ft landing bay and one 50ft approach span. They also cleared mines on both approaches and obstacles on the far bank.

13. Venlo (Holland)
1044ft Bailey Pontoon Class 40 Bridges over the river Maas consisting of:
two 10ft ramps, two 71ft 9ins T/S approach spans, four 73ft 3ins T/S approach spans, two 74ft 9ins approach spans, with 240ft of each span T/D, two 111ft T/D landing bays, three 72ft T/S floating bays.
Constructed by 7 Army Troop Engineers. Comprising of H.Q. 7 Army Troop Engineers, 71/72/73 and 503 Field Companies R.E. and 277 Corps Field Park Company R.E.
71 Field Company R.E. constructed one 111ft landing bay with 90ft D/D tail to allow launching of other landing bay, two 73ft 3ins approach spans, one 71ft 9ins approach spans, one 71ft 9ins approach span, one 74ft 9ins approach span, one ten-tripartite pier, with 62ft distributing girder, five bank seat piers three wit jacking buttress, 100yds of reinforced concrete road and reinforce retaining buttress for landing pier.

14. Xanton (Germany)
1093ft Bailey Pontoon Class 40 Bridge over the River Rhine consisting of one 40ft S/S approach span, two 80ft 6ins landing bays, one 31ft 6ins end floating bay, eighteen 42ft floating bays, one 32ft floating bay, one 10ft ramp, one 20ft ramp, one 1ft 6ins connecting bay with cut stringers.
Constructed by 7 Army Troop Engineers comprising of H.Q. Army Troop Engineers 71 Field Company R.E. less one platoon.
71 Field Company R.E. constructed one 80ft 6ins end floating bay and six 42ft floating bays.

15. Stadlohn (Germany)
60ft Bailey Bridge Class 40 over River Berker including 200yds of road making.
Constructed by 71 Field Company R.E.

16. Recke (Germany)
50ft D/S Bailey Bridge Class 40 over a local brook.
Constructed by No 1 Platoon 71 Field Company R.E.

17. Elsdorf (Germany)
160ft Bailey Bridge Class 40 over Ems-Weser Canal.
Constructed by 72 Field Company R.E. with No 2 Platoon 71 Field Company R.E. in support.

18. Nordhorn (Germany)
70ft T/S Bailey Bridge Class 70 over Ems-Weser Canal with 60 yds of reinforced concrete approach road.
Constructed by No1 Platoon 71 Field Company R.E.

19. Nordhorn (Germany)
20ft Class 70 reinforced concrete bridge over crater in existing bridge over River Vechte.
Constructed by No 3 Platoon 71 Field Company R.E.

20. Denekamp (Holland)
70ft T/S Bailey Class 70 with 100yds of approach road.
Constructed by bridge: No 2 Platoon, approach: No 2 and 3 Platoon 71 Field Company R.E.

21. Denekamp (Holland)
40ft Class 70 (widening of existing bridge) special Bailey Bridge with flush deck on top five single Bailey Girders consisting of four panels.
Constructed by No3 Platoon 71 Field Company R.E.

22. Arlenberg (Germany)
956ft Bailey Pontoon Class 40 bridge over the river Elbe.
Consisting of two 10ft ramps, one 100ft T/S landing bay, two 41ft 6ins end floating bays, one 32ft floating bay and fifteen 42ft floating bays.
Constructed by 7 Army Troop Engineers comprising of H.Q. 7 Army Troop Engineers, 71/72/73 Field Companies and Detachment 277 Corps Field Company R.E.
71 Field Company R.E. constructed one 10ft ramp, one 100ft 6ins landing bay, one 41ft 6ins end floating bay and five 42ft floating bays.
