In 1939 we lived in Links Road, Tooting. I attended Links Road Infants School and had 1 brother and 1 sister, who were evacuated with me. We went to Goring nr Worthing initially, then Marlow nr High Wycombe later. I have no memories of who I stayed with during my time in Goring, but I do remember the family I lived with in Marlow, and I kept in touch after the war. My parents visited me during my evacuation. As a child it was a very pleasant time apart from the short time at Goring.
