Boy Scout age 13 — 17 served as messenger in W. Churchill’s wartime underground Army. Understand that he was issued with a pair of roller skates to skate between Highworth Post Office (postmistress Mabel Stranks) and Coleshill House where the auxiliaries were trained. He wore one pair out and another set was flown specially from America.
