When the war started my Grandad was only 4 months old. My Grandad's dad was a member of the home gaurd. He Lived in Horsham. In the world war two they only had little to eat, they had very small rations, three slices of bread and two ounces of sweats.they had to black out there windows at night so that planes could not bomb on them. If the sieren went off they would have to go there iron shelter. When the war finished my Grandad was six.
