Message 1 - Black Cats

Posted on: 08 December 2004 by Clare Edwards

Dear Michael

I was interested to read your grandfather's war history. It sounds as though my father may well have been fighting alongside him after the Salerno landings. I was wondering if he too ended the war at Pula in Yugoslavia. I have contributed my father's war memoirs under the heading From Mold to St Valery, Egypt and Italy, Parts one and two. Part two chronicles his experiences in Italy with the Black Cats, which you may find of interest.

regards

Clare Edwards
