I was in the Paratroopers from 1939-1945. I volunteered鈥..I must have been mad.

I shot a German woman.

We invaded Belsen camp. We didn鈥檛 know it was a camp there were that many graves. She called me an 鈥淓nglish Pig Dog鈥. I put 4 rounds in her and walked away.
We knew all Gerry鈥檚 tricks. They preferred to injure than kill a man, as more men looked after those injured so there was less fighting. I got away from the war with know serious injuries.
I lost two friends- we dropped in Arnham when Gerry was on manoeuvres.
