Me and Sister worked in a factory making gun sights in the day and as a street warden on some evenings checking everyone who needed help was alright.
My boyfriend was called up, but we married in 1941 when he had a 3 day pass. Didn't see much of him after than until after the war when our first daughter was born in 1947. Didn't see much action, the war just delayed our life!
