I was 7 year old when I was evacuated. I remember going to Paddington Station. When we arrived at our destination we all had to wait until people chose who they could accommodate. My brother and I went to one house and my two sisters went to a different house. After one year we all came back home because there had been no air raids. After we had been home a few weeks the air raids started and it was very frightening.
