My father Mr Clarence Phillips owned Miladi farm in Jersey and had an apple orchard. One day later on in the occupation ,when food was scarce he caught a german soldier stealing apples from one of his trees, the german soldier threatened to shoot my father and so my father had give up some of his apples . It was a very tense moment and very frightening.
