Dear Editor

I submitted (about a year ago) a story about my late father who was Polish. Since then, I have undertaken some research and have spoken to people who knew him many years ago, and discover that Dad's story contains quite a few inaccuracies. I would therefore like the story to be removed, I seem to recall it was called 'a boy's war' or similar. I apologise for this, but I did take dad's words as the complete truth. As someone who is greatly interested in history, I feel very uncomfortable now I have different versions of the events of his life.
