The story I have filed was dictated by my father in 1993, 5 years before his death. I intended to keep it as a family momento, but I believe it should now be filed in this 大象传媒 project, for posterity, if you like.
The naval action in which my father was injured is recorded in "The Valient Quartet, by G.G. Connell, and my father's name appears on page 279, regrettably with a typing mistake concerning his middle initial.
I was able to trace two copies of this book after some searching and the anonynous kindness of one of my acquaintances. My sister has one copy and I have inherited the copy I gave to my father at Christmas 1995.
