Hallo everybody, my name is Phill and I'm new in town and havn't yet quite figured out how to find my way around, so please bear with me if initially I don't have a great deal to say about myself. Suffice it to say that I'm old enough to remember a good deal about the 2nd World War from the perspective of a very young child growing up in the care of the London County Council from 1943 on to 1949. Hopefully, my experiences of that time will be of interest to other members, especially to anyone else who grew up in care during the war.
I already have it all written down in manuscript form and it will just be a case of cutting and pasting various passages, (if I can remember how to do it), meanwhile, I'll get back to you all later.
