My name is David, I was a child in the war,living in Salisbury Wiltshire.
My memories are very clear of certain
events,especially of everyday life and
my home and family
Although we saw little in the way of
air raids in Salisbury, the war certainly was all around us, living
so near to Salisbury plain and the
army camps.
I only remember through the eyes of a
child,but I have always been fascinated
by those childhood memories.
I have several profound and traumatic
memories which will live with me for ever.
I attended Highbury Avenue School and
lived in Ashley Road in Salisbury,
Wilts.
I would love to hear from anyone who
