I lived in Altrincham, near Manchester, during the whole of the Second World War and my memories, covering as they do most of my childhood from the age of 3 to 9, are many. I wonder if anyone would be interested in swapping stories of their experiences at that time - I would love to hear from someone. I no live in Blackpool having moved here when married in 1961.
