It's a nickname: Harry Wave. I was advised to choose one. Well, here we are. It's still what Shakespeare said: 'What's in it', so nevertheless, here comes the real information:
I'am Dutch, born 1929 in Hengelo, observed the RAF airraids on industrial targets there from 1942 till 1944. Admired the work the Mossies delivered and wrote a lot about it: two books, many articles in local papers, the magzine of 'Oald Hengel'(the local museum magazine) 'Mossie' magazine of the sadly now liquidated 'Mosquito Aircrew Association'.
Was liberated on April 3rd 1945 by English troops: Dorsets and Hampshires (publicated also about that) Came for the first time in 1946 to England (Norwich) in an exchange of schoolpupils (World Friendship Association) and got there in touch with Stella and later with Margaret from Wigan. Visited England later frequently. In short this all is the reason I'am an 'Anglophile'and due to WW2 not so fond of Germans; I figured it all out for myself about WW2 and after that I started publishing and that's way I subscribed to 大象传媒 WW2 People's War. That must be it. Oh, yes, I use another nickname: Harry Barry. So long?
