My name is Angela Gooch nee Gillott and I have been researching my family history for about ten years now.
Two members of my family were actively connected to the World Wars.
WW2
RAF Aircraftman 2nd class 149 squadron Harry Gillott 623761 was pronounced 'missing, presumed dead' in 1940. My postings are what I have managed to discover about him.
WW1
Koyi private Ernest Whitaker who served in India and Mesopotamia, modern day Iraq. His diary and a poem that he composed are posted on the 大象传媒's sister site for WW1.
