My father was appointed to H M Dockyard, Malta in 1935 and he remained there until 1952. I was there from 1935 to 1946. I have now retired and live in Lincolnshire. Apart from nostalgia, my interest in the war is due to an ongoing interest in history and an active concern for the elements of social systems which contribute to collapse or survival.

I would be interest to hear of people who were in Malta at that time.
