When the war started, I was a kid in show business with my parents and brother. When it ended, I was in the army, having given a false age and having been sworn in by a recruiting sargeant who looked very amused. As a civilian, I was bombed out after being buried for a short time -- alive in rubble that is -- I'm not a zombie. As a soldier, I managed to get into some combat in Northern Germany, fighting the Werewolves, Mostly Hitler Youth and dedicated Nazis, determined to carry on as long as possible, and, after the war ended, in getting the top Nazi's across into Denmark with whatever negotiable loot they could ship out with. I didn't escape physical damage, and frankly, I learned how worthless war is. Unless it cannot possibly be avoided, it must at all costs BE avoided. I now live in New York City -- supposedly retired, but busy every day as a media and performance coach, after a long, active and rewarding career as an actor in Los Angeles, and New York.
