My name is Bernice Margaret Moss and I am the daughter of Joseph Ratcliffe

My Dad and I were very close. Unfortunately, he died in 1987 and as a result, he missed the amazing programmes transmitted during the 50th & 60th celebrations for the end of the war.

Since my mother , who died in 2002, had kept a lot of his war memorabilia and letters, I felt compelled to take this opportunity to record officially, on your Web site, his personal experiences, in his memory, thereby helping to complete a record of the history of World War II.
