I am 70 years of age and have lived in Sidcup Kent and surrounding areas all my life. I remember the Blitz and watched the German planes flying overhead to bomb London. During the Doodle bug attacks I was evacuated to Leeds and lived in Alwoodley for about 6 months and then returned to the South.
