I was sevenyears old when the war started and just changing schools from Nusery to Primary.This had an effect on how I viewed the war during the Battle of Britain. I lived in Hampton, Middlesex and although we were never a major target for bombers, we did get quite a lot of bombs dropped in the area, presumably because of the extensive water pumping works situated there. We also had some small but obvious factories around. I hope to write a few stories of my experiences during the war which I hope others may find interesting.
