I am a member of Firshill and Pitsmoor Local History Group. We are a small group of 'senior citizens' who are keen to collect and record memories of what this part of Sheffield and the surrounding area were like in our younger days. We have written short articles about our memories of schooldays; growing up in Pitsmoor, and what we remember of WW2. One of our members was a prisoner of war in Poland for 5 years.
We are always on the lookout for more stories about old Firshill and Pitsmoor.
