I am writing my memoirs as I feel this period is a very important in history. So much happened and so many families were devasted like mine. My father had served in World War 1 in the Cold Stream Guards and we, all six children, felt we should serve our country as he did, which I shall relate. In doing this I am hoping there might be someone who served with Ken or Cyril, who died, who could give me a little account of life before their demise or in fact anything relating to my story. Sadly, although Reg, my eldest brother, survived the War he died tragically shortly afterwards in a motor cycle accident.
