I served in the Parachute Regiment in the late fifties and early sixties. The regiment in those days still had veterans of most of the wartime operations carried out by the Regiment. So we could learn such a lot from these men and we did. I was proud to serve with them and they taught me everything i needed to know about soldiering. I jumped with veterans of Merville , Arnhem The Rhine Crossing. I cant describe the thrill it gave me to serve with and be regarded as an equal with these men. Malcolm Kay ex 3 Para
