My father- John W. Bransgrove -was in the Tower Hamlet Rifles (Territorials ) on the outbreak of the War and then served in the Rifle Brigade. Captured in North Africa Spring of 1941 and imprisoned in Italy until 1943 (in various Camps -including one at ' Cinecitta, Rome)and after a short period of escape taken to Germany where he was at Lamsdorf, Thorn and Fallingbostel and was on the 'forced march north towards the end of the war.I have a war diary he kept on at least part of this March.also have a scrapbook he made including photos of various groups and individuals but not many names attached.I do plan to list the names at some point though in the future. Would love to hear from anyone who may have known him

My mother -Annie Bransgrove (nee Humphrey) was an ARP in Dagenham during the war as well as working at Fords and again would love to hear from anyone who may have known her
