My name is Dan Lyndon and I am the Head of History at Henry Compton school in Fulham. We are an 11-16 boys inner city comprehensive and are very much part of our local community. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War we are going to carry out some oral history interviews with two groups; one group is from a local residential home, Lygon House which is next to the school and the other is the West Indies Ex-Servicemen's Association. We hope to carry out interviews with veterans as well as people who lived through the war in Britain.
