The People's War Project in Diss culminated with an open day on June 11th to allow people to reminisce their World War 2 stories and to add them to the 大象传媒 WW2:People's War website. We also made provision for checking numerous WW2 related websites and the opportunity to begin to trace their family history.
Copies of actual newspapers of the time, relating to D-Day, were provided for people to read whilst partaking refreshments.
A photographic display was provided by the local museum.
Students from City College Norwich, Hair and Beauty Department were also on hand to style hair and make-up in the 40's fashion.
