I was born on Boxing Day 1930. I attended Babbacombe Church School from 1935 to 1941, when I passed the Scholarship for the Girls Grammar School, which I attended until 1946. I was a junior receptionist at the Imperial Hotel for a year, then I worked for Kitsons, Easterbrook & Co. Solictors, until I hoined the Wrens in 1949.I left in 1953 when I married and after working for the U.K.A.E.A and in Local Government, I gave up work and had a son. When he was 5 I went to Crewe and Alsager College and took a B>ED. Degree and spent the rest of working life as a teacher at Homewood School, Tenterden, Kent. My interests are local history, family history research and gardening Christine Inskip (nee Saunders)
