They give accounts and memories of the 1939 to 1945 conflict through until 1947.

Being born in 1955 ten years after the second world war. It would be a shame for these stories and memories to be lost. All the stories on the 大象传媒 site are true accounts of this turbulent time in our history. It is to these and the millions of people who sacrificed themselves to keep our country free and give all of us now a democratic society to live in.

Lets not forget the people who laid their lives down for this country to enable this now thriving multicultural land we call England to exist. It is to those people that all in this country whether you call yourself British or English need to reflect on what would have happened if we lost the struggle. Many of you here today would not be enjoying this free country and some may not have been welcome at all if we failed to keep the Nazis at bay. So lets all be proud to be part of the British Isles and all fly the flag! when the politicians decide on an appropriate day to celebrate? I think this should be Empire day myself.?
