Volunteering Tynedale is based in Hexham. We exist to provide support, guidance, advice and practical assistance to voluntary and community organisations and individual volunteers throughout Tynedale. Volunteering Tynedale is the working name of Tynedale Voluntary Action - registered charity 1089395.
As an associate centre for the People's War project we're keen to facilitate people in recording their wartime stories. We are encouraging groups and individuals to take part and for young and old to help one another in adding reminiscences directly to the project website.
If you want our help in recording your story you can either arrange to come in and be interviewed or send us a tape or written account which we can input for you.
