I am Bramham Knight (ne.King), and my father served with the Royal engineers at Dunkirk, in the Shetlands and in Scicily and italy until he died of Polio near Ancona. He is buried at Ancona military cemetary. He died on 19 sept 1944.
He was with the 6th Field Company at Dunkirk and the 94th Light AA company in the Shetlands
He was commisioned in March 1943 and served in Wetherby and the 592 Company atKirk Hammerton before leaving for Scicily with the 567 Tank Company, in June 1943.
