My name is Ted Domaille. I was born in 1936, married with five adult children and 5 grand children.
I was born and bred in Devon, joined the RAF as an Radar/Radio Apprentice and served nine years in the RAF. I spent 2 years on Research and Developement at BAC Filton Brisatol before enlisting into the Bristol Constabulary in 1962. I served for 28 years as a Police Officer in uniform and CID retiring as a Detective Sergeant in 1989 to Plymouth where I have lived ever since.
My interests are Family Geneology Research, rugby and home computing. Currently I am in the middle of writing my own life story (for family use only) and for posterity.
Several members of my family served in both the Great war and second World War. I am specifically interested in finding out how many people named DOMAILLE were involved in the WW2 campaign. To date I have found none. I am also interested to find anyone who served and knew my father-in-law Robert Browning who was born in 1900 and died in 1966 having served in the Royal Navy from 1915 until the end of the War in 1945. His last ship was the Prince of Wales. He was a Stoker Petty Officer and known as Paddy.
