I am very interested in tracing my family tree. It is an interest I have had for about 25 years.
My daughter has recently been doing a project on WW2 in which the class interviewed relatives about their wartime memories. They then published a book containing all their material.
During this discussion with my father he told her about his evacuation to Evercreech in Somerset and how he lost 3 cousins in a bombing raid on Battersea. This got me thinking about them and I was determined to find out more.
