Hi,
I am trying to piece together my dad's,army history( Gordon cowell BEM.)and to find out if any of his army pals are still with us. Pals from Essex reg 1940,5th west kent reg 5th battalion,1941. 8th army 1942/43 north africa, no 3 commandos and 6th airborne parachute reg , 11th, then from D.Day 8th battalion, c comp untill 1946.I hope someone out there can help.
