My maternal Grandfather, Charles "Chick" Carmichael served in the RAF Regiment in two armoured car squadrons - 2777 and 2742.

I am trying to piece together where he might have served and what he did. He rarely talked about the war. I have his Form 543A from RAF Innsworth but it isn't easy reading!
