I am interested in finding out if there is anyone out there who was evacuated to St Helens and, later to Coventry during the last couple of years of the war with St Annes School from Orpington. I remember green nissan huts and mud! Not to mention clogs and walking in crocodile. I made my First Holy Communon in St Helens and there must be others who have this in common.
