Born in 1917 and rejoicing in the singular name brought back from the trenches of France by her soldier father, Cecile Alsace Louraine Plumb lived , thrived and survived through WW2 as a nurse and Midwife in central London.
Her stories of that time have always fascinated me, those memories etched with clarity apon so many lives should be shared. I intend to do my best
