Hi, I'm Lynette Foster nee Wightman and am the daughter of Mr. E.F.Wightman, who served on board H.M.S. Ramillies. My father wrote a diary during the D-Day landings and I have translated it into "Memorable Day"s which can be viewed through the Editoral Desk. I have been married now for virtually 35 years and have two grown-up children. If it wasn't for my father returning from the war, he married in 1942, I wouldn't be here today to tell his story.I thank God that he came back.

It would be interesting to see if there is anybody out there who had family serving on H.M.S. Ramillies during the Second World War. If you know of anybody who served on board her or are a surviving member of that crew, please contact me.
