My maiden name was Joyce Burdon, I was born in Sunderland in 1936, and educated at Hudson Road school.When I left school I worked at Cosmos electrical componants factory for three years. I then started Nurses training at Ryhope General Hospital.
I am married with three children and seven grandchildren.
When my children were old enough I went to work at the Dialysis Unit at Sunderland Royal Hospital. I was there for twenty six years till I retired.
At the moment I have several hobbies, my favourite being my computer.also enjoy driving, reading,sewing and crafts of any kind.
